Chakra
1: If this chakra is strong and clear, then our sense of survival
and physical sensation will be strong. The intention to be here
now in a physical body comes thru this chakra. Other issues to
be found in the first chakra are those relating to our will to
live, manifesting work and shelter, security, stability, patience,
trust, order, safety, physical pleasure and pain, physical sensation
of all kinds, and the quantity of physical energy that one has
available on a daily basis. If this chakra could speak it would
have a strong presence and say "I am here".
Chakra
2: This chakra connects us with our sexuality, our creativity,
pleasure and emotions of all kinds. This chakra says, "I feel".
Here is where we define our wants and desires in the physical body.
This is the where we first learn about healthy boundaries and what
is enough. The front of this chakra clarifies the quality of our
emotions, especially the feelings that we have about ourselves.
The back of the second chakra expresses Will and the quantity of
life force that we bring to our relationships.
Chakra
3: Here we begin to create clarity and understanding of life from
a mental perspective. We learn about personal power, freedom of
choice and action. Linear thinking predominates in the third chakra.
With all of this we become resilient and able to meet life challenges
from an empowered sense of self. If the first two chakras are providing
a firm foundation for our thinking, then the mental ability of
the third chakra can blend with intuition to guide us with confidence.
Chakra
4: The heart chakra brings us to loving connection, compassion,
tenderness, forgiveness, purity and unity. It is through the crucible
of the heart that energy is transmuted for healing. The front of
this chakra holds our love for humanity and all of life. When this
chakra is spinning naturally and metabolizing universal energy
into our being we are able to connect to life with a feeling of
love and appreciation. We accept others as they are and realize
that our very nature is love. The expansion of the heart includes
all persons, places, ideas and feelings with equal compassion.
Chakra
5: This chakra elevates us to a level of divine will and creating
form from sound. Words create a vibration which reflects our deepest
thoughts and manifests in symbolic form our creative ideas. It
is here that we connect with our guidance, transforming images
into communication. The ability to bring the spoken word honestly
from our being out into a form which others may understand is powerful.
We have the opportunity in the fifth chakra to transcend fear by
speaking our truth. This creates freedom in our lives.
Chakra
6: Celestial love, inspiration, the ability to see and to visualize.
The 6th chakra (also called the third eye) opens us to the higher
spiritual realms of intuition and clairvoyance. Here we have the
ability to go deeply into ourselves, and bring forth a vision.
Introspection refines imagination. When the 6th chakra is aligned
with the heart chakra one feels unconditional love. We experience
spiritual love, bliss, and joy. Our vision attains perfection as
divine love filters into our minds eye. Our mental processes become
clear and reasoning is lifted to an elevated perspective.
Chakra
7: The crown chakra has been described as a lotus flower with one
thousand petals. If we reach high enough we bring our awareness
to the thousands of stars in the sky. The seventh chakra allows
us to transcend the events of our daily lives and experience the
consciousness of a higher mind. If this chakra were to speak it
would say,"I know". This is our connection to divine
mind, to our spirituality, faith, our wholeness and to God. The
seventh chakra integrates our personality and our spiritual self.
This integration brings us peace, serenity, purpose, trust, inspiration,
curiosity and enthusiasm for life.

“Healing
is not the same as curing, after all: healing does not mean going
back to the way things were before, but rather allowing “what
is now” to move us closer to God.”
– Ram Dass
